Working with Hannah is always a privilege. Hannah and I met early last year on a shoot for the front cover of Wedding Ideas magazine, and ever since then we’ve kept in contact. She’s quite simply the most kindest, elegant and cheery person I know! Hannah always receives compliments on how beautifully girly and lady like her appearance is – even on a day off!! So she’s the perfect person to run a successful bridal boutique.
Here she is hard at work again on our ‘Botanical’ styled shoot, shot at Highcliffe Castle in early January. Helping model Sophie Waldron into one of her stunning Watters Wtoo gowns in Arabella – possibly one of my most favourite gowns I have worked with on a shoot.
If you’re just setting out on your wedding journey, then I encourage you to pop into Hannah’s bridal boutique in Botley. There is no one more qualified than Hannah to help you from the gown of your dreams x

Wow! What a fab year I have had…from bridal clients to international models, local village weddings to large stately homes – I have had what is quite possibly the most productive, amazing year yet! And the business just keeps growing. I am now in the enviable position where I don’t need to advertise to gain clients, and I’m more able to go and do styled shoots for high profile photographers. I have also been extremely lucky in the fact that I have met and worked with some real senior names in the wedding industry including; Tasha Newland of Ikonworks, Az Rehman of Lemontree Photography, Unique Cakes by Yevnig, Halfpenny London and Jennifer Poynter Flowers to name just a few. I have also made some lifetime friends through my bridal clients, and even now still get contacted by brides I did the makeup for a year or two years ago still saying they can’t believe how gorgeous their makeup was, and asking what products I used to recreate it – which is extremely flattering.
I have also had the most wedding magazine, and wedding blog coverage I have ever received from previous years. Which all accumulated in achieving a front cover for Wedding Ideas magazine in August, along with a three page feature in Your Hampshire and Dorset wedding magazine (also in August) for an art deco styled shoot I had organised and designed the makeup for. This has also been the year where I have organised around 5 styled shoots for various publications – learning not just how to managed people, but to also think outside the box in terms of makeup design to keep my skills fresh and exciting for future bridal clients.
I have also been accepted onto the books of some very high profile wedding venues this year including; Penton Park, Stanwell House and Somerley Estate House.
With 2017 almost already fully booked I simply cannot wait to begin on another equally (if not better) year of glamorous shoots, beautiful bridal clients and magazine coverage x

Following from the success of the front cover image from issue 163, I was approached by Wedding Ideas magazine to feature a full page advert in their new September issue. And what great feedback I have already received from it, with some bridal clients already requesting the exact makeup design I have used on the advert! I hope you love it as much as I had fun designing it x
I first became aware of Tasha a couple of years ago through social media, which is always a good way of finding amazing wedding suppliers, and was completely blown over by her work. Her photography made you sit up and say ‘I want to do that!’ What really still stands out for me was her first front cover for Hampshire, Wiltshire, Dorset Brides Magazine last year. The cover was divine, just simple makeup done impeccably well by Amazing Face based in Dorset and with a model who just stared right out of the page. Tasha got the perfect balance of light, composition and design – I still look at it today, finding inspiration for my own work. So when I got the ‘call’ from Tasha asking me to help her on a photoshoot for Wedding Ideas Magazine, I wasn’t going to turn her down!
From the very beginning through various emails discussing the shoot Tasha was so easy going, and was really interested in having your input into the look of the shoot. She is a real champion for local suppliers, and like me, wants to show clients what is possible – which is a lot! When I arrived for the shoot at Penton Park the first thing Tasha did was give me a huge hug, which really put me at ease and made me want to do the very best for her and for myself. And what a great time we all had laughing, coming up with some really stunning images for Tasha and the magazine.
I can’t wait to work with this inspirational lady again x
I this image by Tasha Ikonworks of all of us just doing our thing working busily away for Wedding Ideas Magazine front cover shoot. Tasha had referred to us as her ‘dream team’ as she had pulled us together from scratch to make this front cover photoshoot work harmoniously. And I think the end result really does show this – the fact that we all worked hard, yet had such a laugh together making it. Actually just before this photo was taken we had been having a ‘serious’ conversation about Jon Snow from Game of Thrones…
More gorgeous images to come x

I have been dying to share this news for about a month now…my first front cover with Wedding Ideas Magazine!!
When Tasha of Ikonworks Photography asked me to be a part of her ‘dream team’ for this front cover project I was so excited as I’m a huge fan and always return back to her work again and again for my own inspiration. So getting the chance to work with her was an opportunity I couldn’t turn down. Tasha has a way of capturing light that when you view the images back just makes you feel happy – it’s an incredible talent.
Along with Tasha the dream team included: Joey of The Wild Fox Floristry (she is uber cool and her flowers are out of this world – truly) Hannah of Hannah Elizabeth Bridal Boutique who provided those two stunning bridal gowns (which at the time were not on general sale, she’s very persuasive!) Michelle Crosser of Bridal Hair in Hampshire (personal friend who I love working with) Model Sophie Waldron (Yes she is that stunning all the time!) And all shot at Penton Park, a really unique wedding venue in Hampshire.
I LOVE THIS FRONT COVER!!! x
