After being featured on Bride and Tonic in November, I am super excited to be on this truly unique wedding blog again! This time with a styled shoot focusing on a growing trend for 2019 – peaches. I was honoured when creator and director of the shoot Tasha, of The Hampshire Wedding Club, contacted me to be involved and provide my makeup skills to the mix. The images are incredibly sweet and I think really capture the feel of the shoot ideas.

WOW! What a day yesterday was! We had all the fun at BASH wedding showcase, held at the Guildhall Winchester. Hair stylist Michelle Crosser and myself created a soft, pretty bridal hair and makeup design for model Chloe Lancaster – who was so wonderful and a pleasure as always to work with. We then collaborated with Maids to Measure and Judith Searles Flowers to finish the sweet, dewy spring look. Later changing the flowers to a hair comb from Victoria Fergusson Accessories, and another Maids to Measure gown.
This image of Chloe by Matt Lee Photographic says it all really…the power of wedding supplier collaboration.
Bridal makeup should take your everyday makeup to the next level and compliment, never overpower, the occasion. It has to work hard though with getting the right balance for photographs, meeting guests and lasting the distance on what is a joyful, but long day…

In case you missed it… a couple of months ago I teamed up with model Chloe Lancaster to design a bridal makeup look based upon Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, using her new range of makeup products available at Marks and Spencer – Rosie for Autograph. And here are the results. A design which can be altered either way for day or evening wear. I love Rosie’s products, in particular the rose gold packaging.
I am bouncing off the walls today to finally see our art deco photoshoot published and out into the public domain! On sale tomorrow, the latest Your Hampshire & Dorset Wedding Magazine features three pages of carefully selected images from our shoot. Capturing the very best from all of the suppliers involved, and there are quite a few! It’s just so wonderful to see your hard work come to something so gorgeous, and was definitely worth all of those sleepless nights and getting everyone onboard and working together to achieve something highbrow, yet accessible. If you do catch yourself buying a copy, turn to page 67 to see all of it’s yumminess! xx
